Tea Party Anime

From Taiwan, with love:

Surely others besides me enjoy the spectacle of Sarah Palin’s heist riding a train, firing an AK-47 into the sky with delight, and crushing R.I.N.O.s and worse beneath the onslaught of her Tea Party Express. If only the real Palin were the glorious and frightening Valkyrie imagined by both her fans and detractors! After all, she is but another politician who necessarily panders to the democratic beast. I would much rather have Pinochet in lipstick—though not in a tranny sort of way. That image does probably sell in certain quarters, though.

Constitution Day

Andrew Klavan mirthfully explains the Constitution and its relevance today:

Let us remember, though, Judge Learned Hand’s sage remarks,

Liberty lies in the hearts of men and women; when it dies there, no constitution, no law, no court can save it; no constitution, no law, no court can even do much to help it.

The regime that matters most is written on the heart.
